I put very few hours on my sea doo GTX RFI (787 RFI)

My 2002 has only 90 hours on it!

I have felt like changing the pump oil in the little cap on back is overkill every year.

What I have been doing is merely checking the level and changing about every 2 years or so.

Should I be concerned?

Alternatively is there a way for me to drain (or suction out) the old oil from the add hole? I hate to break the seal and pressure test for such low annual usage.

Thanks

Jim

I have been told that if it is still purple or blue then it is ok. I don't remember what color it is right now. I only get mine pressure tested about every other year. If the o'ring is still good then I wouldn't worry about it. I change out my o'ring every other year just to be safe.
