Pulling a tube with a 2004 Seadoo XP DI

I wanted to put this in trouble shooting before i have to post here fixing something as a result. I was just curious if pulling a small tube or wake board behind the Ski was bad for it at all or if anything wrong could come of this. Ski is in great shape, i just want to keep it that way, but i also want my friends to have fun too.

Your ski is more than capible... but USCG rules say you must have a 3 passenger, or larger ski to tow.

I thought that was state by state. in PA you need a 3 seater, but in MD, I'm not sure you do...
