Painting the bottom

I am looking for any ideas on how to paint the bottom of the ski. Mine is sort of a faded eyesore. Someone made mention the other day about putting it on its side for cleaning and I figured that would probably be a good last resort to do one side at a time if I have to. I had to fill in a lot of chips and whatnot with some marine filler and did that by laying under my homemade stand, but it is not suitable to reach for painting. I am planning on rolling and tipping as I do not have access to a good place for spraying and this method seems to look just as nice with a little patience. I also thought about using boat stands but they can be fairly pricey. I was just wondering if anyone has done this and the method they used to paint the bottom with the motor still in. Thanks

Never painted one myself. What equipment do you have to paint it with? I've seen a guy here that lifted his by the nose to do something. I don't know if you have anything that could do that, but it allows great access.

I thought about doing that with a comealong mounted to the rafters, but wasn't sure if anyone had tried something similar. I'll try searching for that thread thanks.
