one carb- no gas

1997 sportster- ran great for 13 years, this weekend seems one carb not getting gas. carb getting gas has dry sprak plug and warm when pulled, carb not getting gas has wet (oily) spark plug and cold. Engine idles ok-not great- but only gets about 1/3 rev when full trottle. any ideas other than rebuild carbs. pulled plug wire when running and had plenty of spark, fuel filter clean, slelctor switch ON, reved engine to full trottle to leave marina, started to gain speed (all ok at this time), pulled back trottle to idle to talk to someone, then never had any power after that.

same fuel line supplies both carbs so check that first but if plug is wet then carb is getting gas and might not be getting good spark at correct time which coulc be coil, stator or pickup.
