First off this is not my Scooter.
A friend of mine just spent 2 grand putting a motor in it and it has like 2 hours on it. Its an 02 GTX RFI
Apparently he flipped it at the lake or something that voided his warranty on the motor.
Hired a mechanic to come out and tell him that he had no compression on the front cylinder.
We bought a test gauge and confirmed this. 0 front, 140 rear.
The needle didn't even wiggle on the front.
I would start, but obviously ran like crap.
I haven't pulled anything yet. but planning to go over and pull the head.
Any guesses as to what could of happened?

Too many factors. Just pull the jugs and dont let crap fall into lower case.

Thanks Bill
We pulled the head off and it was obvious.
Looks like the tip of the RAVE Valve got chipped off and bounced around in the cylinder destroying the piston.
Not sure Why.
The guy I'm helping out said he paid some mechanic 2000 bucks to put a new engine in his scooter.
After we pulled it apart it was Obvious that this was NOT a new engine.
Don't know how many hours it actually has on it but it definitely has been in Salt water.
So we are sending the Cylinders off to get re bored and new pistons and gasket kit.
Looks like he will need a new head also since part of the Piston or RAVE is still stuck in it.
