Ive had it about 2 months ran over some weeds and had loss of power. i cleaned the weeds out of impeller. but now i have loss of power on top end and when making a quick turns. and it bogs out a bit. it ran great until i ran over the weeds. the carbs have been rebuilt and not sure where to start.

Hi Kaball,

OK, If bogging down then it probably is not cavitation ( high revs but no speed), but just in case do this...
Check the clearance between the end of the impeller blade and the wear ring. should be no more than .040 inches...use a feeler gauge.

Also check the condition of the wear ring...is it damaged, chucks out of it, gouges, rips, etc.

when was the last time carbs were serviced? Do you still have the gray tempo fuels lines?
Post back with your findings.

i found the line from the battery to the back was plugged with some gunk i cleaned that out. I added some seafoam yesterday . and i changed the plugs today. took it back out after i changed the plugs and it ran great! thanks for the advice. this is my first sea doo and new to all the maintanace and troubleshooting!
