Hi there! This all started a month or two ago while camping and watching all the boats launch. My wife started reminiscing of when she grew up and they had a boat and how she would like to take our daughter out on a boat. That slowly evolved into whether we could fit a boat in our toy hauler. after some reading it seems the speedster 150 fits the bill! Not sure we would ever try to load it, but in theory it should fit and the weight is right at capacity.
Regardless of fitting into the toy hauler we are looking for something small that we can tube behind. something we can fit into the garage of the winter is a big bonus. Tubing with out 7 year old is a must.
So here we are, after a lot of reading, nearing decision making time. We are leaning towards the 155 motor simply for maintenance reasons, faster is always nice, on the other hand I'm always fixing something, so if this saves a day in the garage it is worth it!
