Hi guys,

I'm restoring 1998 Speedster with twin 787s.

I made a mistake and took both wires on both engines off spark plugs before taking a picture..

I need to know where wire #1 and #2 go on the engine, manual has a diagram (parts catalog) but I'm not 100% positive if it is correct and if both engines wired the same.

Can somebody look at theirs or post pictures where the wires go?

Really want to fire my engines, but need this info..

Thank you!

Found this pic.

If you zoom in, you can trace the wires. The farthest plug and coil go together and the two closest go together.

Thank you for a quick response!

But I think your's is 717? Mine is 787, if you look at my pic below (only one before I took the wires off, I think they might have been incorrect from the get go, this is why I want to check with a running engine)
Mine has exhaust/intake on different sides.. Are 717 and 787 same in terms of plug wires?

Both plugs fire at the same time, so it really doesn't make any difference.

Look at the clapped out thread in my Sig line below. Then a few pages in you'll see my 99 speedster. You might be able to make out the wires. If you still need pics just ask. If I have time I could try and snap some.
