Hi ive posted before and now that ive diagnosed and torn down motor ive come to conclusion that one pistons needle bearing has disintergrated ! Scared the sleeve and still pieces are down in crank area stopping crank from turning . Sorry for long story but i really would like to know how this happened ? I didnt get water in mototr /this was 1st time out this yr, and should i rebuild or find new motor? Its a 781 cc thanx for reading and any help would be greatly appreciated? 61 out

Take your pistons and feel if there is and up and down play on the crankshaft bearings. there should be minimal play left to right but none at all up and down... if the crank is legit and you can turn the crank by hand in a full circle it is ok, you need to get a top end kit and rebuild the top end. Its about $300 to do it yourself.

I did that part myself. If you get your stuff from fullbore.com it's about 300 drilled for that engine. You get gaskets and all.

Yeah if you can do the labor it's no bad at all. You can save yourself about a grand. I got an estimate from seadoo at $1400 for parts and labor for my 951 . So hopefully you can.
