Multi protocol interface vehicle communication kit

I recently bought a box of seadoo parts and there was a brand new MPI vehicle communication kit in the box. Is there anyway to activate it? It looks like I have all the cords.

Nope, that's the original MPI and you will need a license key code which that unit hasn't been supported for more than 15 years. The illegal foreign hackers can generate license key codes for the newer MPI-2 and MPI-3 but I don't think they can for that.

I might be interested in your cords if you want to sell those.

I just bought a used one of those.
It’s still possible to buy licenses for it… and they can generate a key. The license originates outside the US…. Send me a DM and I’ll share the link.

You will also need an ancient XP laptop with a hardware serial port…

You will have to run a really old version of BUDS software that will not work with newer machines. Can't remember what year but guessing around 2009 when the went to iControl.

I’m using 2.3.19 and it works fine with an ancient XP laptop.
