Mekanix Premium Member Premium Member Aug 26, 2019 #1 Just installed an engine and it ran fine except for code p0340. Sensor is good but there is no pin on the cam gear. This is a reman for a 2010 gti 155 se. Do some models not have the cam gear pin? Could I just turn that sensor off in software?

Mekanix Premium Member Premium Member Aug 30, 2019 #2 Fyi: New engine came with a blank gear and no pin. It's supposed to have it. Just replaced the gear and all is good.
