Tyler-Snell212@hotmail.comMy Bombardier sat in the water and just idled. The start/stop button didn't work, pulling the key didn't, finally after turning off the fuel and waiting five minutes it died. It wouldn't rev while idling either. I have tried a different battery cause I don't know a whole lot about mechanics, and when I went to hook the positive on the motor attempted to turn over and I couldn't ever get the battery hooked up. I'm looking for any advice anyone can give. I have a good friend who can fix it if we can just find out what is wrong. Thanks for any tips!!

Dieseling is fun! Usually this is caused by carbon deposites in the engine heating up and basically becoming glowing hot (like a glow plug). Then it'll ignite the fuel/air mixture and the cycle begins.

If this is the case, it is caused by a dirty engine. Search "dieseling" on the forum. Here are a few threads to help you out.
