maintence light and rough start

Hi,

I'm a newbie with a 2001 seadoo gtx. I have been using midgrade gas and fuel stablizer all summer and riding in a weedy lake. Over the course of the summer it has been getting more and more difficult to get it started. Recently the maintence light came on so I checked the oil and it seemed low so I added more. The light is still coming on when I fist start it up and then will go off once it's going. It's still starting rough though. Would changing the spark plugs help? If so, where would I find them? Any other:willy_nilly: ideas?

I ran a hotter plug in my GTX, BR7ES, and the maintenance light came on instantly. Changed back to a BR8ES plug and the light went off. Don't know if it was a cowinky dink or what. You need to check the plugs anyway. The plugs tell the story of how you're running, lean, rich, or good!:cheers:
