Hi Guy's have a 2000 GTX that usually does 60 mph. First trip this year after cleaning raves I only got 50mph. Can the rave selinoid go? How do you check the rave selinoid is working right? Ski runs really good until about 45 mph than starts to run out of steam at about 6000rpm. Any ideas?

I have a '99 that's done the same exact thing.
New fuel filter, new fuel lines, cleaned the RAVEs, verified fuel selector was clean. Verified working RAVE solenoid, verified water regulator, new plugs.
Now I'm pushing 6,600 RPM WOT on the water, but it's not the 7,000 I used to get...
my engine is only 2 seasons old...

Replace fuel selector valve & Grey fuel lines, go thru carbs.
Just cleaning a selector is not enough. Its Aluminum Oxide permiates thru the walls and acts as a hardener to petroleum molecular particles and the result is
like BONDO. Use a 3/16" drill to clear the 3 selector tubes to witness that.
Petroleum resin when mixed with carbs whose paint has flaked also is suspect
to aluminum oxide hardening in the carb orifaces. Bills86e
