Can you put a 97 750 sxi motor in a 97 650 sx hull?

Yes. Been done many times. Pretty sure it’s a simple bolt in. Honestly your best resource is the 650 SX section on x-h20.com.

Easy swap, You have to machine the cases to accept the 650 stator and drill and tap the holes. Use the 650 flywheel. Or, if you have, use the complete 750 electrical system.
