Hey all! Bought a 2000 islandia last year, boat was in pretty good shape. Hull and engine were real clean and tip top, but the vinyl was wasted... (pics included) So this year was the year of new interior... I changed up the colors while trying to preserve the character of the 1st generation islandia... lemme know what you think.

Thanks!

Hey! So I found a guy somewhat local in Galena Md. (I live in south jersey but do a fair amount of my boating in the northern part of the Chesapeake). He did the whole job including a new Bimini boot for $2500. I had to pull all the cushions and take them to him which is a bear of a job mind you. But I estimate it saved me a butt-load.

Mine are still soft and supple. I take VERY good care of them. WOW! your new ones look great! How do most come out on the rear deck. ?

Looks great! I'm finishing up my seats in a 01 right now. And yes what a PTA to get them off and back on.

I need to pull and recover my front seats, how did you get the back rest of the two front seats and the small blue cushions up front? I have not tried hard but have looked and see no way to remove them easily???

Sorry. I meant to reply to your post. I removed the cup holder and the front headlight housing.

You can also get access through the speaker holes. PITA anyway you go at it☹️
Advice-tie a string on your tools and outside. If it drops out of your hand you won't get it back. Good judgment comes from experience, experience comes from bad judgment.
