Impeler-Wear Ring question

Hi Guys,
My RXT-X 2011 recently started not to run that fast in the low RPM's, it is something like your car on ice...it takes time till start running as it has to. I took a picture of the impeller and wear ring and need some advice if they (Wear ring and impeller) need t be replaced.

Here is the image and you can see how much damage has the wear ring.. Thank you very much in advance, I really appreciate your help.

It sounds like a wear ring issue, but the pic is to hard for me to tell.. Can you take one from up through the grate? If so, that would likely help as nothing will be in the way to see it better.

From the rear, I still can't tell. But the one from underneath, I can see gap. It needs replaced for sure..

Hmm, is the normal clearance that much little...

The width of a dime is the max. The act that I can see the gap, leads me to believe it is wider than the width of a dime. Unless the angle is deceiving, that is how it looks to me..
