Starts a few times a day. Yesterday I fire up the ski a few times and it kept dying after about 10 sec's or so (ill research that later-tanks almost empty) but then after the 4th or 5th try... I get no lights or beeps or anything... It was on the trailer so nothing has moved unless it was vibration. I checked all fuses front and back and none are blown. I gave up troubleshooting due to some storms coming.

I tried this morning on my way out to work just for the heck of it, and I got 2 beeps and lights on first try... No idea whats goin on...

Sounds like a loose ground, check all grounds, if you find corrosion clean the contacts and apply some dielectric grease. Also check the neg. battery cable, sometimes they corrode from the inside out.

So I cleaned the grounds in the back box where the coil is as well ground to starter. I decided to try and fire it up. It caranked and cranked and cranked, then nothing. No beeps no lights, no gauges. It's like something trips an overheat sensor or something like that where the ski is completely dead. I'm at a loss...

Keep that thing out west Hobo...might be contagious. I hope these guys can help you out. What Lou said sounded like the fix.

Yea. No idea whats causing this. I'm sure it'll turn over tomorrow morning once its "cooled" down....

just a theory but does anybody think that his computer could be resetting from voltage ?????

So if its voltage, then its the rectifier? Its so weird. Like I said, its like something senses that it gets too hot and trips a breaker, so to speak, but when it cools off, everything is back to normal... untill it "over-whatever-it-does" that kills it completely.
