I picked up a boat this summer and I notice the pole for pulling skiers was bent and the gel coat / fiber glass around the mounting point has some spider cracks in it. I am sure the person was pulling a tube that caused this issue. My question is what is the best way to repair the cracks? I was thinking of using Marine-Tex RM305K - White. How close will this material color be to the white color of the boat? Is this material the correct thing to use for this repair? I am also going to pick up a new pole but not use it for pulling tubes. Any help would be great.

Unfortunately you will not get a good color match. Spider cracks are from the fiberglass flexing under the gelcoat and are highly likely to come back.
