Been reading article for a while and now it's my turn to ask

Have a 2015 GTX 215 Limited that sounds like it's slipping through the water from the prop when you hold the throttle all the way down. If you gradually get up to speed it's fine....any thoughts?

Remove the jet pump. You most likely have a damaged wear ring and/or impeller.

You are experiencing “Cavitation”. Almost always a bad wear ring. The gap from the blade to the wear ring should be 1mm or less. If I️t is great than that, I️t needs replaced. Also, the exact same thing will happen if there is anything wrapped around the shaft or impeller. And a bent impeller can also be an issue.
