Hey Everyone,
My name is James and I have just purchased a 97 XP. I have been lurking for a bit as a guest before I bought the XP, but now that I have it I figured I'd sign up and say hello.
I am planning on redoing the fuel lines ASAP, as it has the gray originals, along with the all the filters. Everything looks fine (no goop or slime) but I'd like it to stay fine.
VTS works excellent.
Speedo is a no go as is the fuel level, but oil light works.
Needs a clip for the front cargo hatch, fire extinguisher stap, and a new hatch as it has a small crack in it.
Also planning on getting some new foot mat material. HydroTurf or BlackTip?
I also want to make the dash cluster look like this pic below with the large RPM and small VTS (posted by member dreadnok). Any idea on the best place to find these parts?
Here are a few pics of my new to me 97 XP and her 825 HP tow vehicle.
All in all she starts great and runs even better! Any items to do or to be on the look out for? Any insight, knowledge, wisdom anyone wants to share is welcome as I am new to this machine.
Thanks,
James
