how do I tell if the battery is bad or rectifier is bad, the ski starts red light comes on 12 volt low comes on the display then hit reset and its says ENG L1 tried charging the battery works for little while then same thing, thanks for any help

Ive no idea what that means Iron head.
Theres a premium section for repair manuals that might show that fault code up I havn't seen all the manuals so I cant help bud. Wish I could though.
