Help! Challenger 180 2007 SE

Hello everyone,

I am installing the Raymarine 7 fishfinder/GPS onto the boat (12V, 3-5A device). However, I am not sure where to hotwire it. There is a panel/fuse box on the driver's side of the boat that has two circular plugs, a row of female pins under it 24+ pins and a group of grounds on the left. I have the service repair manual that shows 3 pages of how to crimp a wire but does not have hint about where each of the existing connection goes.

Question is: Where do my red and white wires go in this fuse box. Thank you for answering my question.

First you need a Series 111 Female adapter to add to the fuse box. http://www.waytekwire.com/item/31037/PACK-CON-III-SERIES-FEMALE/ The red wire is attached to this connection and the white wire is ground. Use the recommended auto fuse for the Raymarine.

Thank-you! It's good to know. I've decided to run the fishfinder on a separate battery supply, just in case I need to jump start the main battery. I like to go out far in the coast here in Central Florida/Sarasota area and just can't afford to get stuck. Thanks, though, for your helpful advice.
