Just joined the forum. I picked up a 1996 gtx 800 with a trailer for pretty cheap last night. It looks like its in pretty decent shape, few scratches and nicks but considering its age I'd say its pretty good. The previous owner put in a new engine, fuel lines and oil lines so thats pretty sweet.
It looks like the fuel float is filled with fuel, so I'll be replacing that. It also either needs a new starter or starter relay (not sure yet) as it'll click and then do nothing. Sometimes tapping the starter gets it to fire up. Probably a starter issue now that I think about it.
Looking forward to getting this thing all good to go. I'm also keeping my eye open for a '96 xp or a 97 spx for some more fun.
