Last year I purchased a 1999 Kawasaki Ultra 150. After only 3 times out on the water one of the cylinders decided that it didn't want oil anymore. Float pin fell out of the carb :( Well we know how that ends. Anyway I sold that ski and gave up on my Jet Ski hopes:dunno:.

Well the other day I noticed our crappy dealership was under new management. Honda, Yamaha, Sea-Doo dealer. They fired all personnel and redid the entire place. So in my excitement I went in and walked out with a 2012 GTS 130.

Yeah it's the honda grocery getter of the ski world, (I would call the yamaha VX 1100cc the minivan of the ski world :D) but for the cost to performance and gas mileage. I put 4 hours on it and it still has 1/4 tank of gas. You can't beat it... I still was able to achieve 57mph in sport mode at half a tank. I weigh 165...

Welcome to the forum. That's a good looking machine! Will you be running it in salt water most of the time? The new models are closed loop systems, right?

Yes salt water all the time, but the system is closed loop. That's was my decision on sea doo over Honda and yamaha
