has anyone seen one of these? seadoosnipe may have. I have seen 2. they do not last very long maybe a couple of hours then all the sea life go to deeper water and spread out. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mobile_Bay_jubilee

A similar thing happens when you throw a bag of lime in the river.
It starves the water of oxygen.

Jubilee....

Sorry Karl, we never know when it's going to happen. It normally happens on the eastern shore.
You will see crabs, flounder, shrimp....just about any delicious seafood, just floating around....but you have to be careful. They are deprived of 02, but they are still alive. I'm careful not to pick up the dead stuff, cause I don't know how long it's been dead and I don't want to eat something that may make me sick......
