Hard to put new vinyl on a 95 GTX seat?

It's not hard... but you need a good stapler. (air is suggested)

a good air stapler, , good staples, and a helper does help (extra pair of hands to pull)

let it warm up in the sun, or use the blowdryer/heatgun (on low) stretch, tuck, staple.

I did mine last winter, a little bit of a struggle, but it turned out great, I'm sure it will be a lot easier next time. I would suggest getting a fitted seat cover, an air stapler, and be sure to use stainless steel staples.

Bought mine from SBT. These: http://www.shopsbt.com/standard-jet-ski-seat-covers/108BT102-S.html . I haven't had the time to install the covers yet butt may in the next week or so. I still have more work to finish on the refurb of this ski first.
