Yeah, exactly. Not cool. We did get it off. None of it went into the impeller. Everything looks good. Is there any reason to take boat in for them to look at?

I have heard stories of wrapping enough rope on the drive shaft where the expanding ball of rope cracked the fiberglass tunnel. Yours look well short of that. Also check for any damage to the rubber boot/seal at the impeller spline.
