Guages not working

I have a 1995 Sea Doo XP 650 engine dual carbs., none of the guages work or the vts. I have checked all the obvious, connections, fuses etc. Anyone have this issue with their XP? Bought the hull last year and built an engine for it and installed, engine runs great.

THere is a good chance that they are all just dead.

The VTS is known to burn up if the boot rips. Basically, water gets in, and rots the motor.

It's the same thing with the gauges. They should be waterproof... but water will get past the seals, and they die.


So... I would say to try to put power on the gauges direct, and see if you get any response. OR... just make sure there is power at the gauge.

As far as the VTS... open the unit, and see what it looks like inside.
