Hey guys I just recently aquired this jetski and I have never had or worked on one before but im fairley mechanically inclined and would like to get this thing in the water soon since its summer time.
So i just bought a new battery and plugged the key in and the gauges turn on it mentions that the oil is low, fuel is low, and red light blinking. It also mentions that this thing only has 83 hrs on it but anyway after i put the key in i get the 2 beeps and right after i get 4 more beeps (which is the jetski telling me to start it) but when i press the start/stop button the motor doesnt want to turn over at all and then i get 4 long beeps and four really quick beeps right after that. Also when i press the start/stop button i hear some sort of click behind the solenoid...
Could the solenoid be bad? When i attempt to jump the solinoid it wants to turn but doesnt go all the way... I know the keys for these things go bad every so often but the key has a good conection. Some info from previous owner, said the oil was over filled at one point and it just sat for a long time and hasnt been used since.
Bare with me fellas, i could really use all your help and i attempted to list as much info as i could about this thing. Any ideas and thoughts are well appreciated granted i dont know squat about them
