ok so ive got a 97 seadoo gsi. since i got the ski 4 months ago i have went through 4 starters...yesterday i put on another starter and all i am getting is a clicking coming from my starter solenoid, so im guessing/hoping that this is what has been causing me to go through these starters like this...i can repeatedly hit the start button and it will click and then after about pushing it like 10 times itll crank up...oh and the last couple of times that i have removed the bad starters they have been locked into the fly wheel...is all this from a bad solenoid? bad fly wheel? any help will be greatly appreciated

I'm betting you've been buying starters from EBay made in China. You need to rebuild your original OEM if you still have it, if not buy a good used one. PM minnetonka4me or 99spxxx on this forum if you need a good used starter.
