Hi All, want to mount my depth finder/temp gauge to rear transom. Was wondering if anyone has put a grommet (like the one used for the speedometer wiring that goes through the rear plate) into the other plate in order to run the wire for the depth finder? If so what is required to run the wire through the plate and into the engine compartment? Here is a pic of the grommet. Looks like that plate is threaded in the same spot also. Thanks in advance.
