Hello from Seattle!
I recently purchased a 2001 GTS from a family member. Have been using it occasionally the past two Summers, and now I have it 100% of the time. Of course, the years past it has run great and first time taking it out after getting the title I have a minor issue. The oil light is coming on after 10 or so minutes of use. If I stop the ski and let it rest for half an hour, it will be back to normal. Take it out, same thing happens 10-15 minutes later. Oil tank is full, no leaks that I can see. Anyone have an idea of what the cause could be? Sensor going out?
I'm also wondering if anyone in the Seattle area could recommend a reputable shop or mechanic. I think it's been a few years since anyone gave the ski a thorough inspection, so would like to find someone who could go through it that won't immediately recommend replacing half the parts. A referral would be most welcome.
