Grate Help

So this is a super common question, but I don’t think I’ve seen it on here. Every lake in my local area that I can take my sea doo on has unavoidable debris right now, and I hate to miss lake days. I was wondering if there is any kind of solution to make my grate/impeller area tougher or almost resistible to debris..? Thanks!

Truly, just drive carefully…if you put a mesh over the grate, you would no doubt cavitate.
