Full Throttle Issue!!!!

I Have A 96 Hx. If I Give It Abut 3/4 Throttle It Does Fine. If I Squeeze The Throttle All The Way It Looses A Little Bit. So I Let Off A Little And It Gains Again... What The ?@#$!!!!!!

Does the rpm's go up and the speed doesn't ? It could be a wear ring that is bad, allowing the impeller to not grab as much water.

no, the speed goes with it, i just rebuilt the carbs and i wondered if i missed something so i took them apart again but couldnt find anything. curious huh?

i did get som advice to open up the high end screws a little due to the aftermarket pipe and flame arrestors i could be a little lean..
