Fuel Confusion

Can someone help me sort out the confusion of fuel type available from Caltex Shell BP etc .
I have a GTR 215 and was advised to run 98 octane but manuals and Rotax experts say otherwise.
I live in Perth what fuel should I use?

I just run 92 octane unleaded regular in my Seadoos as well as my Harleys. In brutally hot conditions where detonation can be an issue in those poor air cooled engines I go for premium.
In my opinion, the water cooled Rotax should be fine on regular, if you notice any detonation step up to premium.

I use 50 50 premium @ regular(10lts of each in a Jerry can) use it on my Seadoo 2012 gti and Polaris ace @ john Deere ride on mower @ generators

I just use 95... seems fine.
