Flush hose on 95 xp

Hi everyone. Quick question just bought 95 xp i notice the flush hose is hooked up to the side of the head where the arrow is pointing out is this right.

Yes. You are actually back flushing when on the hose. Make sure you clamp the hose going out the back of the ski from the flush tee so the water goes into the engine instead of out the back.

Stupid question: Is there any reason to flush my 95 XP if I never intend to expose it to salt water?

It does help flush out any sand from beaching the ski.
