After jumping some large waves and landing one or two very awkwardly with some big offs. The ski would'nt start straight away. But when it did it would'nt rev.
Some guy on the beach said it was in limp mode to get you and ski safe.

Is this right?
And how do you cancel this mode?

Its a 1998 Seadoo XP800.

I don't have the manuals with me but will tomorrow. Limp Home Mode is used incase of a problem with the engine, it will let you idle back in.

Did you restart the ski?

I did eventually.
With frustration..........key on key off a few times.
The last big off was the worst. Nose rubber off, and rear corner cracked.
Non starter and back on the trailer.
Got home and found the plugs fouled.
Now trying out some iridium plugs off my Supra.;)
