We was out on the boat today and everything was going great...
We stopped (in natural) and the engine was just ticking over then for no apparent reason it just cut out.
I pressed the starter button and the engine spun over but just would not start!
Luckily there were some other boats around us (we were at the end of the river Thames and edge of the North Sea) and they kindly towed us in.
I removed the 2 spark plugs which were wet with fuel so I cleaned them, then rested them on the cylinder head testing for a spark, nothing!
The plugs are brand new + the battery is brand new.
The engine was rebuilt last year and sounds perfect when trying to start.
The boat is a 2003 Seadoo Sportster LE with single 951cc 2 Stroke Carb engine.
I opened the black plastic box (see pic attached) it was dry inside.
Any ideas what could be stopping the engine from sparking/starting?
