So a couple weeks ago I hit a rock and broke my grate and it got stuck in my pump...so i tore it down and found my drive shaft was bent as well so i replaced it all! so i take it to the water starts up runs fine i idle for 5 min to let the wear ring break in and just baby it up to speed for a min then i go WOT for about 30 seconds and it just stopped, went silent no noises nothing just stopped! so i tried to restart and it wont spin...bring it home pull everything back apart and the pmp is fine engine will spin with plugs out but NOT with them in! So now im leaning toward bent crank, thats all that I can think of at this point. remember the drive shaft was bent so it could be a bent crank i think...any insight or ideas would be great the battery is at
12.40v so im stumped now, i just dumped about $500 into the pmp and shaft and everything back there now this after a 5 min run.....please help meee!!

So it cranks with the plugs out. You checked the battery. I would still put the battery on a trickle charge to make sure it's fully charged. You don't say what ski you have? Carb, RFI, DI?

sorry i was kind of in a rampage last night lol its a 95 xp 800 carb i know the battery is good, i cant spin the motor over by hand with the plugs out but it will when i crank it so in my eyes that means something is holding it back, i just dont know if it worth tearing down i thinki might just buy a used motor and drop it in over the winter its almost fall and i have a 95 spx to ride so im not in a huge rush to get this fixed i just want to figure out what my winter project is going to be lol!
