I am new here and i have a question. I was wondering why when i connect the battery the wires coming out of the stator get extremely hot? Please help me.... Thank you for everything
Sounds like your regulator has gone bad. Part of the regulator/rectifier's job, is to cut the power going back to the stator coils. If it doesn't... then the stator can burn up... or at the minimum... the stator will drain the battery.
