The boot around the drive shaft in my wifes 1995 GTS went to leaking where it
contacts the front bearing. Found the hose spinning on the bearing (Bearing not
spinning). I did not know this at first and tried tightning the front clamp. Started
the ski and slightly twistes the hose, now it has a small crack in the hose. If I
grease the bearing and get it turning like it should can I just wrap the hose with
good duct tape and reclamp just till I get a new hose? Also how much trouble is
it to pull the pump assy to where I can install a new bearing and hose? Also how
much water pressure would there be on the hose?

Thanks

Les

pump is easy to remove, need 10mm, 11mm 13mm and 17mm sockets. Duct tape has no place on a jetski. get new boot. does it have carboon ringor bearing carrier to esal driveline

Dont want to be on the water till fixed. If that blows on the lake you will be at the bottom in about 30 sec!!! CCC
