Hi, another newbie to jet skis...so I'm sure I'll have lots of stupid questions...I've searched the forum & found the answers to plenty of questions so far but I've got one I didn't find....
Is it wise to disconnect batteries after riding until I ride again or is it ok to leave them connected all summer ??? I'm an auto tech & I know a car will draw the battery down when not used for a couple weeks & I didn't know if this is a concern on a jet ski or not...
Thanks, Steve.

IMO, if you aren't riding for a while, disconnect it. In my case, I leave my battery's hooked up all the time but I also have a battery tender on all the time when they are parked to

I would say. if you're not going to ride the ski for more than a two week period it would be a good idea to disconnect the battery. I generally leave mine connected for the summer.

I remove after every ride and dry off, put on battery tender. Trying to make it last as long as possible.

That's just my preference. I installed studs and locknuts as to aid in quicker installation and removal.

I never remove mine except for winter storage.

Mine stays connected and in the SeaDoo connected to a battery tender. We don't really have winter here, so I'll probably never take it out.

I disconnect the battery if not using it for more than a week
Both of my ski's will drain the battery if not used--2000 and 2002 GTI
