DESS?...I'm completely dead all of a sudden..!

When I went to start the 07 challenger 180 215se motor...upon putting the dess lanyard to the post..
I got nothing.. no beeps.. no gauges.. no key power.. nothing...
I do have all accessories.. fan , radio. Ect... and there is good voltage at the solenoid to start ... it's just not giving me anything...

Is this just the DESS or worse... ECM?. Ir just a poor ground somewhere.
Checked all fuses at EFB and VCM.. ALL check out okay.

Its got to be between the DESS and or the ECM is this correct?

How to ... gulp!... discover if it's the cheap easy fix or the expensive as shit part?

Sounds like something’s loose if no power. Here’s from my book for 07 challenger 230. Should be similar troubleshooting...

Thanks Rick. I guess there are a few possibilities and I just need to start with one and test till i.find it.

Cud be... buzzer, but still no gauges or start
Cud be... ignition button, but no beep or dash
Cud be... dash but still no beep start and lower switch acc. work fine

Cud be... DESS post or key.... hopefully.
Cud be ...a GND loose some anywhere... ugh!
Lastly it Cud be the ECM , whichn to replace would really $UCK.

If it were just a random loose connection that rattled apart. .any suspect locations or historical culprits of mention relevant to my symptoms and issue?
