I have a question on my 08 Utopia 205. What is the corrosion that is on the pumps and reverse buckets from?
I purchased it from someone in Maine, but was told that it was only used in freshwater. Could it have been ran in saltwater from a previous owner? What is the best way to clean it up? Would it need to be sandblasted and painted? Or should it be left alone?
Thanks

That's not bad at all. you can wire wheel the spots, then repaint. I did mine not long ago. Stripped them down, primed and painted them.

Make sure your zincs are in good shape. They may need to be replaced.

I primed everything after the parts were cleaned up, then I used brake caliper paint as it's pretty forgiving if things aren't super clean and it appears to be pretty durable as well.
