I have a challenger 2000 and since I leave it in the water most of the year, I used the battery master disconnect switch almost 4 times each day. After a while the master kill switch was broken and I looked around for a new one and it was about (35-65 US$). This got me thinking instead of paying that much and the fact every time I use it to switch on or off I have to open the counsel to unlock the engine compartment, why not just use a remote control system. When I started this project I only wanted to use the remote control for connecting and disconnecting the batter, but after I did this I went a bit further. I got me a 433MHz 12v wireless relay module with remote control and now I have complete control of everything with the remote control. Since there are 4 buttons on the remote, I used them as follow:

1. Master kill switch (Toggle/Self-Lock)
2. Ignition & accessories (Toggle/Self-Lock)
3. Engine start (Momentary Mode)
4. Engine stop/kill (Momentary Mode)

At the same time I still can use the key switch as normal. The whole thing cost me about 16US$ which is cheaper than buying a new battery master disconnect switch not to mention the fact that you have to unlock and open the engine compartment every time. I am including links to components needed for this system, but since this system needs some electric wiring I will post the full and complete wiring diagram if anyone is interested. Its free but I prefer to wait and see if anyone is interested before I sit down and draw it and take photo and video of it.

If you interested in more ideas, here are 2 more ideas:

Having a electric motorized cold water system in your jet boat, all you need is old ice water tank and a 12 volt water pump. All you have to do later is add ice to the ice tank.
