I have a 1995 GTX, I‘m replacing all the check valves and in the Seadoo service manual it shows the check valve on the oil tank with the black side out. It describes that the tank needs to draw air in. If you blow in the white end it allows air to pass through. This seems backward to how it’s shown in the illustration. Anybody with some knowledge on how these install would be appreciated.

Some of the colors changed over the years.

You want air into the tank and no oil out. So you should be able to blow air into the tank with the valve installed correctly.

Thanks, the manual description to the illustration didn’t match. Looks like I put it on correctly. Thanks again.
