Check Engine Light

Hey I just bought a used 2004 Sea Doo RXP supercharged and I went to take it on the lake today and everything was fine till I got on it full throttle and then the check engine light came on. So I turned it off and turned it back on and the light was off and everything was fine. So I started to accelerate and I got it to about half throttle and everything was fine so then I pushed to full throttle and the light came back on. Does anyone know what this could be?

Maybe it was freezing to death. lol Is it not cold there in WA today? :cheers:

No it was about 51 outside, not too bad at all...I just wish I could figure out why this happens

Not sure as far as the check engine, did you notice a loss of power when you hit full throttle?
Did the check engine light up imediatly when you hit WOT or did it happen when you hit a certain RPM?
How many hours are on the craft?
How long have you owned the craft?
How much have you used it since you bought it?
When was the last time you(or previous owner) had your Super Charger checked?
Did the previous owner provide you with service records?


I wish i had the stones to go on mine when it is 50 out here lol.
