I have a 2000 GTX RFI Sea Doo. This last week, the unit ran good for about 3 hours. Then it refused to turn over. The dash went blank when ever we pushed the start button. All the starter did was click. It stayed the same all day long and would not start. When I got home the unit started on the trailer. I pulled the battery out and charged it all night. It took a very high charge as the gauge read over 6 on the charger for over 6 hours and then started to drop down. Inthe morning it read about 2 on the gauge the next morning. I then took it to my dealer and he did a load test. He said the battery was as best he had ever seen and it was fine, reading 13.5 volts. He wants $130.00 to diagnose the problem, but he says it is most likely the rectifier. That unit is about $190.00. Do you guys think I should gamble and just buy a rectifier or have the dealer do the job and pay the dagnosis and then whatever part I need ? Thanx Steve rovnr@aol.com
