A little more information would be helpful.

What is your voltage on the battery when idling? What is the voltage when revving to 3,500 rpm?

How old is your battery? Have you ever replaced the voltage regulator?

Check your 30A fuse. If its blown, make sure your rectifier is outputting the correct voltage. Should be no more than 14.5. Even that's high, I like to see it around 13.4. If you need to replace the rectifier, DO NOT go cheap. I had a Chinese one catch fire on the same exact engine as you.
